We are very proud to have pro cycling coach Martin Lukasse as one of our guest trainers this cycling season! Our trainer Rob and Martin met during the Mallorca 312 in 2021. They clicked and after the successful clinic of Martin in 2022, Rob invited Martin again this year, to provide two trainings for our members, at the cycling track.
On Wednesday 8 and 29 May he shared his knowledge, experience ánd passion for professional road cycling and coaching with us. He had some challenging exercises in store for us to pump up our heart rates and physical condition. The most exciting were the sprinting exercises which brought out the best in us. Very inspiring and motivating, not to forget the personal tips and tops we received.
At the end of the trainings Martin was also happy to answer our questions about training methods, zones and nutrition.
About Martin
As an enthusiastic amateur road cyclist Martin decided to pursue his dream and start his business as a personal cycling coach: QLAQWORK. A couple of years ago he finished his Master in Coaching at the Johan Cruijff Institute. Last but not least, Martin is actively involved in women’s cycling and coaches, supported the WV de Amstel Women’s team and started working with WV Schijndel this year.
