General conditions
By registering for any activity, the participant agrees with these terms and conditions. Peak Cycling reserves the right to modify these terms and conditions at any time. Any changes will be communicated to participants prior to the start of an activity.
Registration and fees
Participation in club activities requires prior registration and payment of any applicable fees. Registration is only considered complete when the participant has paid the full registration fee, including any additional costs, if applicable.
Refunds
If participants decide, for any reason, not to join once they’ve signed up and paid, no refund of the registration fee or any additional contributions will be made. We advise to arrange the necessary insurances.
Cancellation and changes
Peak Cycling reserves the right to cancel, reschedule, or change the details of an activity for reasons such as, but not limited to, safety concerns, weather conditions, or other unforeseen circumstances. In the event of cancellation, Peak Cycling will make every effort to notify participants as soon as possible. A refund or credit may be issued, at the discretion of the club.
Safety policy and liability
Peak Cycling will do anything to keep all participants safe and healthy during their activities (check our safety policy which is part of these terms and conditions). Nevertheless, participation is at all times at everybody’s own risk. Peak Cycling cannot be held responsible for any damage or injury that might occur during their activities. We advise to arrange the necessary insurances.
Code of conduct
Participants are expected to behave in a respectful and sportsmanlike manner. Any form of harassment, discrimination, or unsafe behaviour will not be tolerated. Peak Cycling reserves the right to remove participants from an activity if they engage in conduct deemed inappropriate or dangerous.
Photography and media consent
By participating in our activities, participants consent to being photographed or filmed. Peak Cycling may use such media for promotional purposes, unless a participant explicitly objects in writing prior to the event.
Data protection
Peak Cycling will collect and process participants’ personal data in accordance with applicable data protection laws. Personal data will only be used for purposes related to the administration of the activity and will not be shared with third parties without the participant’s consent.
